Hello WorkSource Customer,
We're recruiting eligible VETERANS and/or Returning Military for the CNC Machinist Programs at Shoreline Community College AND South Seattle College
Tuition Costs will be covered for most!!!
The booming manufacturing industry has an increasing need for well-trained, skilled CNC Machinists. Don’t miss out on this excellent career opportunity.
The CNC Machinist Program @ Shoreline Community College AND South Seattle College is an intensive program designed to prepare qualified individuals for entry into the job market as a CNC Machinist (Computer Numerical Control) Technician. Instruction covers programming and basic set up and operation of CNC machines, blueprint reading, shop mathematics, machine tool theory, inspection, surface plate techniques, and Statistical Process Control. Students will be involved in the production and machining of industry parts. Developing CNC repair skills is also an option.
CNC MACHINIST PROGRAM START DATE: Spring Quarter, March 30, 2015 - the class is filling fast don’t wait
Some Eligibility Requirements for this training program include, but not limited to:
~ High school diploma or GED
~ 18+ years of age
~ At least basic math skills
~ Mechanical abilities and interests
~ Able to understand, read and write English at an intermediate level
~ In need of updated skills or retraining
